Sweet Dog Caught On Camera Helping Comfort Her New Foster Brother
When Tofu was adopted from the shelter, his new foster was told that he was an escape artist but they had no idea that meant they wouldn’t be able to leave his sight.
When they brought Tofu the great Dane home, it became apparent that the big skinny boy was not only an escape artist, but he also had a serious case of separation anxiety and never wanted to be alone.
He didn’t want his new parents out of his sight and easily hopped the baby gate to be with his people. He even climbed on a counter and was determined to stay by the side of his people no matter where they were.
He was underweight and his previous owner said he was partially dead and blind. He was a shy nervous boy and very reserved. But his foster was determined to help him overcome his issues and come out of his shell.
It took him a bit to get used to the other dogs but soon became close with his new foster sister, another great Dane named Zoot. Soon, Tofu and Zoot began sharing a room and Zoot became Tofu’s comfort.
When Tofu would bark or be upset, Zoot would snuggle up close with her new foster brother as though that was her job. The adorable dog helped comfort him in his foster home, all the watched watching them on the video camera.
Sweet Tofu began to transform from a dog that needed comfort to a comforter. He became a snuggly boy who loved to cuddle with his foster family and began to fit in to family life as though he had always been there.
He quickly gained weight and got healthy. He and d so great, and he was soon ready for his forever home, which was the best news because even though his foster family loved him, he needed a forever home and they had other dogs to help.
Soon Tofu found the perfect forever family and he arrived a happy, loving dog ready to show the world how much love he had to give. The big nervous pup had transformed into a confident good boy who loved his new family.
